Biography: Hi all! My name is Carita and I am SO excited to be this year’s Alternative Spring Break director. I’m a junior Molecular and Microbiology major and have been involved with ASB since my freshman year (it’s been the highlight of my time here at UCF!) This is my first year officially involved with Volunteer UCF, but volunteering has been a major part of my life since I was a little girl. Volunteering is a passion of mine; I can cite no other hobbies, no other interests I pursue in my spare time – I love getting involved and making a difference in issues that are near and dear to me. I truly enjoy it because it’s humbling, intrinsically beneficial, and it’s a fun and productive way to spend time and give back to others! |
